The main cap and flowmeter must be washed by hand due to heat from the dishwasher. However, everything else is perfectly dishwasher safe. We recommend periodically removing your slider and bumper and tossing them in the dishwasher for a quick clean. Can I track drinks other than water through my PÜL SmartCap? Yes! You can set any drink type you want as the default drink type for your bottle. However, thicker drinks like a protein smoothie are not recommended as they may affect the accuracy of the flow meter. What happens if I get water in the charging port? Nothing. PÜL’s charging port is designed to be water resistant so that you can hand wash your cap with ease. Be careful not to submerge your SmartCap, though. Does my SmartCap track drinks when not in range of my phone? The PÜL SmartCap is equipped with onboard memory so that it can save drinks even when your cap is not connected to the app. When your PÜL SmartCap re-connects to the app, it will log all drinks that were saved on the cap when it was disconnected.
